During VST existence, executive committees have been responsible for:
  • Programs  to celebrate our important religious festivals such as Navratri, Diwali, Janmashtami, Annakut and Holi
  • Educational activities such as the Children’s Christmas Party, Sports Day, Talent Show and
  • Recreational activity such as the Picnic and Day Cruise
In some of these activities, many prominent guests including Mayors, Consulate Generals, Honorable Ministers, MPs, MPPs and other dignitaries have been invited and enjoyed our cultural tradition alongside us.

The Youth Committee is an important part of this organization and every year, they mirror their seniors.
  • The purpose of creating a youth team is to provide a framework that increases the ability of our youth to participate in planning, problem solving and decision-making to serve our community better and enhance their leadership skills.
  • Increased participation in both planning and execution has helped them to get a better understanding of our religious values and social activities.
